Part 2 exhibited at the Technical Museum Vienna and Dasa Museum
For this exhibition our focus was on the Grätzel places around the museum. We had a closer look at food markets, were different cultures and characters come together. Our mission was to create a place for exchange and interest.
With our self-made food-cart we giftet a small bag with baklava and apple strudel in exchange for a short dialogue. Passengers gifted us with many different experiences and stories they made with one kind of any dish.
For us, as listeners it was really interesting how the always, the same way asked question "What is your favourite Recipe?", can create so many different answers and stories. We heard stories about their childhood, their kinks, how they cook now, for whom they cook and much more. Being part of a strangers dialogue, that quickly let you feel connected through the starting dialogue of food, made it so interesting to me.

Part 1 exhibition at Vienna Design Week
How apple strudel and baklava revealed stories from around the world. For ten days, our team was dedicated with great passion and sympathy to create a save space for overcoming social prejudices and barriers. Using a cargo bike, which was quickly converted into a mobile food stall, participatory interventions took place every day in the ninth district. While distributing strudel and baklava, our team entered into dialogue with passengers and festival-goers of different origins and age groups. An exchange, at the end of which diverse descriptions and positive multicultural connections of appreciation came to light.
